CARD: Magnolia Christmas

Happy Monday! What do you all have on tap today?  Have you made plans for the week and do they involve crafting?

The project I have today demonstrates the versatility of our products.

This card features the Magnolia Lane DSP and Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.  The base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Cherry Cobbler card stock, folded to be 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  I then cut a matte in Mossy Meadow measuring 4 1/8" x 3 7/8".  The DSP is cut to be 4" x 3 3/4".  I used Cherry Cobbler blends to fill in the beautiful blooms.  On Whisper White, I stamped the large bloom image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and once again, used the Cherry Cobber blends to fill it in; and the Mossy Meadow blends to shade the leaves.  The Magnolia Memory Dies cut out the bloom perfectly; and I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write market to fill in any of the white that showed through.  I next took a piece of 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon in gold and coloured it with the Dark Cherry Cobbler blend.  That was adhered across the bottom of the DSP and matte using Tear & Tape.  A strip of Mossy Meadow measuring 1 1/8" x 4" plays matte to a strip of Basic Black measuring 1" x 3 7/8".  On the Basic Black, a sentiment from the new Itty Bitty Christmas (hello sneak peek) is stamped in VersaMark, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder and set with the heat tool.  The card is assembled and the large bloom is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and given a brush with Wink of Stella before adding 3 Basic Rhinestone Jewels that have been coloured using Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.

And just like that, I've created a card fitting for Christmas using the Magnolia Lane DSP.  I hope you've enjoyed it.  If you live in Canada, you can purchase any of the items featured here today by clicking on the images below to be taken directly to that product.  All orders over $25 will automatically receive my Top 6 Card Designs PDF at no additional cost.  Be sure to check out how you can earn even more rewards by shopping with me.
