The Never Ending Card

I'm so excited that I FINALLY figured out how to make these super cute and thrilling cards.  The never ending card, is just that, a card that has no end.  It's difficult to tell how much fun they are in the following photos; but, everyone will LOVE getting one of these cards.

The following card is done up for Christmas, but can easily be changed for any occasion.  I've used the Bright Hopes set from the Holiday Mini catalog.

Winter is Lovely

I wanted to create a card using a set that can be used for every occasion.  While I LOVE Christmas and all of our holiday sets, sometimes you can do an equally beautiful card using a more versatile set.  This card was created using Lovely as a Tree.  One of my favourite nature sets, I can use it for almost anything.

Here I've paired it with the "Season's Greetings" from Snow Swirled.  The card is chocolate chip, with an always artichoke embossed accent using the Snow Bursts embossing folder for the big shot.  The trees are stamped in always artichoke on white shimmer paper and matted with bravo burgundy, which I also used for the saying.  Silver brads and cording tie it all together to give this simple card a more elegant look.

Hang Your Stockings

More and more these days people seem to be giving Gift Cards for holiday gifts.  Why not package them in this super cute stocking?  This cute gift card holder was created using the Holiday Stocking Die for the Big Shot.  The holy berries from the Stocking Accents Die and the tag using the Small Tag Punch.  One gift card slides easily into the top of the stocking and you can hang this adorable stocking from the loop made from the Early Espresso 3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon.  You may also notice some snowflake detail on the stocking and that was created using the Frostwood Lodge DSP.

Stamp-a-Rama fun

This past weekend I attended Stamp-a-Rama, an all day stamping event for Stampin' Up! enthusiasts.

The day started at 10am with some mingling and a chance to walk around the room and see the many samples and ideas provided by demonstrators. I was honored to have some of my work included; but, I'll share that in a different post.
This was also our chance to assemble our stamp set, if needed, and put our tickets in for the door prizes.

At 10:30 the festivities began with a welcome and a brief outline to our day. Some door prizes were drawn and
Then we started our sessions. In the morning we were divided into groups to visit, round robin, the WOW demonstrations. These are tutorials on how to create projects that make you go "wow". Some of them we got to make others we just learned how to do. Here are a couple of the samples we didn't get a chance to create ourselves.

We had lunch, more prizes were drawn and just had fun!

Overall, it was an amazing day and I can't wait to teach the new techniques I learned at your workshops!

Contact me to learn more about getting fabulous products for FREE just by having a few friends over!
