CARD: Artfully Here For You

When you're a Demonstrator and you reach $1,000,000 in sales, you're celebrated for your achievements and part of that celebration is getting to design a stamp set with the Stampin' Up! concept art design team.  Today's project uses the stamp set, Artfully Aware, designed by one of these recognized Demonstrators.

I knew that I would need this stamp set the moment I got to see it at OnStage last November.  The line art is perfect for those of you that like to colour; and the images and sentiments are truly moving.

The card base for this project is Crumb Cake.  It is a standard quarter-fold card, which means an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" sheet of card stock, folded in half to be a card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  A strip of Old Olive 6" x 6" DSP measuring 1/2" x 5 1/2" is adhered to the folded edge of the card base.  Pacific Point measuring 5 1/2" x 2" is embossed using the Pinewood Planks Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then adhered to the base, showing about 1/4" of the DSP strip.  A piece of Old Olive card stock is cut to measure 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" and crumpled up before being smoothed back out and adhered to the base.  A piece of Burlap Ribbon is cut and adhered over the seam.  On Whisper White, the image is stamped in Stazon Black Ink and watercolored with Pacific Point and Old Olive Watercolour Pencils.  The sentiment is stamped in pacific point.  Using the Stitched Shape dies, the image is cut using the circle and the sentiment using one of the squares and then trimmed to the right height.  These are then adhered to the base using Stampin Dimensionals.

This stamp set is perfect for all ages and genders and I hope you've found inspiration here today.  If you'd like to purchase any of the items you've seen here today, you can do so by simply clicking on any of the images below to be taken directly to that item.  All orders of $25 or more will receive my Top 6 Card Designs automatically at no additional charge.  Don't forget to check out my rewards for even more benefits!
