Beautiful Blossom Punch

My upline, Jennifer Tinline, posted this card to her blog some time ago and I absolutely loved it!  So much so, I had to duplicate it and bough the Triple Layer Blossom Bouquet Punch to do so.  I LOVE this punch as it's very versatile.  You can use it to punch three different ways and the uses are endless.  This card is very simple and packs a big punch.

To duplicate this card, designed by Jennifer Tinline, I used whisper white and basic black as my background and mattes.  The squares were punched using our 1 3/8" Square Punch and of course the flowers were created using the Triple Layer Blossom Bouquet Punch in colours from the Brights collection, old olive, real red, daffodil delight and pacific point; though it should have been temping turquoise to match the button.  The buttons are the Designer Buttons in brights.  I then stamped my saying using Sincere Salutations.

Button Buddies

I've spent a lot of time over the past week focusing on stamp sets that are retiring, so I thought I'd change it up a little and post a card made with a set that is not retiring May 31!

This adorable card was made using Button Buddies.  I have to admit, I don't own this set...yet!  I had a chance to craft today with a fellow Demonstrator and I borrowed her set to create this awesome card.  I played around with colours and decided on the Brights collection; Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive; very summery.  But it could easily be changed up by switching colour palettes.  Subtles for Spring or Regals for Fall and you have one versatile card!

Without further ado:

Accessorize your card by adding coordinating Designer Buttons from the same colour palette like I did using Rich Razzleberry.
