COLOUR CHALLENGE SWAP: Lift Me Up

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Today I will continue to showcase the colour challenge swaps I received a while back.  If you're new to my site, please look back to see all the wonderful projects I've shared so far.
The challenge was to use any current Stampin' Up! products and the following colours:  bermuda bay, crumb cake, very vanilla and basic black.

Today, I'm highlighting a project by Laurie Alexander.  The card features the Lift me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlets.

The card features a base in crumb cake measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half to create a card 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  Laurie then used a layer of basic black 4" x 5 1/4".  Very vanilla measuring 3 3/4" x 5" creates the next layer.  Cloud images in bermuda bay are stamped randomly at the top and the sentiment is stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink at the bottom.  A piece of bermuda bay measuring 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" was then run through the big shot using the seaside embossing folder.  Clouds and the balloon are then cut out with the big shot and Up & Away thinlets from scraps of bermuda bay, crumb cake and very vanilla. The balloon frame is cut from basic black.  A few basic rhinestones add some pop to this beautiful card.

I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I do.  To be notified of future posts, please subscribe to the blog using the sign up form to the right of this post.  If you'd like to receive my newsletter, you can sign up to the left of this post.

If you don't currently have a demonstrator and you live in Canada, I would love to be that person for you.

Happy stampin'
