COLOUR CHALLENGE SWAP: Amazing Life

Well hello and welcome!

Today's post is yet another sample from the colour challenge swap.  If you're unsure what I'm talking about, please refer to my previous posts.  Not only will you learn the details, but you'll also see more samples to foster inspiration.

Today's card features the new Amazing Life stamp set.  It was designed by Darcie Clyne.

The base is a piece of crumb cake card stock cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and folded to make a quarter fold card 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  The layer of basic black measures 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" and it is run through the big shot using the polka dot basic embossing folder.  Next, strips of DSP in crumb cake and bermuda bay are cut to measure 3/4" x 5" each.  The sentiment is stamped on very vanilla in memento tuxedo black ink as is the cake image.  The sentiment is cut with the big shot using the stitched label framelits.  The cake image is cut using the stitched shape framelits and the matte cut from bermuda bay using the layering oval framelits.  The cake and the word "CAKE" are coloured using a blender pen and bermuda bay ink.  Wink of stella is added to the cake to give some shimmer.

This is a super cute card to share with your family and friends.  If you'd like to give it a try, let me know and I'd be happy to help you with the supplies you'll need.

Happy stampin'
