It's Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. While Monday is often the day of the week most people dread, I have a feeling your day is about to get a whole lot better!
Once again, I am participating in the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop with other amazing demonstrators from around the world. Make sure you hop along to all the posts to be inspired.
This month's theme is "Birthday".
I had some fun with this card and tried something I hadn't done before. I created my own mask using acetate and used silver embossing paste to create the cake, which gives it a look like it's covered in fondant.
Once the embossing paste was dry, I then used Stazōn ink to stamp on top of the embossing paste and coloured the design using Stampin' Blends. The cake is then punched out using the Cake Builder punch. I paired the Piece of Cake stamp set with items from the How Suite It Is product suite. I've used the How Sweet it Is DSP and the rectangle stitched framelits. I tied a piece of the coastal cabana/granny apple green 38/" reversible ribbon around the card. The sentiment is stamped in Melon Mambo on the Sweet Pins & Tags.
I had so much fun creating this card for you; I hope you're inspired to try something new yourself.
Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend and hopefully some time to craft? I'm heading out to volunteer with my Pathfinders who are running a sleepover with the younger Sparks unit so no crafting for me tonight. Even though I can't craft, I still wanted to post this super cute card that may inspire you! This is one of the OnStage swap cards I received. Sadly, there wasn't a name with the card so I cannot give credit to the card's creator :(
My daughter loves giraffes so she was very excited to see this one when I brought it home. It features the Animal Outing and Tropical Chic stamp sets, Tropical thinlet dies and the Share What you Love DSP.
Well, this post is several days late; but I wanted to share this super cute card from one of my team members. Teresa Milke-Steinman shared this with our team meeting in celebration of International Women's Day.
The card features the Beautiful You stamp set. She's used mint macron, rich razzleberry and whisper white card stock. A strip of DSP from the botanical butterfly sale-a-bration DSP pack is added. The card is finished with the sentiment being cut using the stitched shape framelits and a strand of metallic thread.
It's a perfect card to celebrate all the wonderful women in our lives. I hope you all took time to appreciate those special ladies in your life; and have gained inspiration from Teresa's design.
