Today I have the project I created for a recent 2017-2019 In Color swap I participated in with my fellow demonstrators. I'll be posting all of the projects over the next few days. Be sure to check back often for lots of inspiration.
I used the Incredible Like You stamp set from the Occasions catalogue. I don't typically gravitate toward florals so I'm really happy with how this one came together. The base is a sheet of berry burst cardstock measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and folded in half to be a quarter fold card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". The next layer is whisper white measuring 5 1/4" x 4". The large flower image is a 2-step stamp. The solid image is stamped in powder pink and the detailed bloom layered on top in berry burst. I then added the leaves in tranquil tide and finally the dots and small blooms in powder pink and fresh fig. The sentiment is stamped in fresh fig. To finish the project off, a piece of berry burst metallic trim ribbon is tied with a knot and three basic rhinestones are added to give some sparkle.
All in all, the project came together quite easily and looks amazing if I do say so myself. I hope you like it.
