Today I will be sharing another project from the colour challenge swap I was in a few months back. I have shown two projects so far, be sure to check them out here and here.
Today, I'm showcasing a project by Teresa Milke-Steinman. Teresa is actually part of my "Shut Up & Stamp" team so I'm always super excited to see what she's created.
As I mentioned in my previous posts, the requirements were to use only the colours assigned and current Stampin' Up! products. The colours to be used were: Bermuda Bay, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.
I love the simplicity of Teresa's design.
The card base is basic black measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", folded in half to become a quarter-fold size card at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Next is a layer of bermuda bay measuring 4" x 5 1/4". Teresa used the lines image from the Incredible Like You Stamp set to create the detail at the bottom of the layer, stamped in bermuda bay to give that monochromatic look. Next is a piece of crumb cake measuring 3"x 3". The very vanilla on top of that is 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". On the very vanilla, Teresa stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, in bermuda bay. The flower images, which actually pick up a lot of light in the photo, are stamped in crumb cake, again the image is from the Incredible Like You set, and then wink of stella is brushed over top to give it some shimmer. A basic jewel rhinestone completes the look.
