CARD: Blue Christmas Wreath

Wow, can you believe November is half over?  It feels like it was just Halloween.  If you’re a  Christmas nut like me, you’ve likely already begun to get in the holiday spirit.  For the rest of you that celebrate, things will start ramping up over the next few weeks which is why I’m so excited to share the card I made today.

You’ll have seen similar cards already featured as I really love the All Around Wreath Dies.  This was actually one of the first cards I created with them; inspired by a decor piece another Demonstrator had done.

For this card, I used Blueberry Bushel card stock for the base.  It measures 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” and is folded in half to become 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”.  Next I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to be 5” x 3 3/4” and embossed it using the Scripty 3D embossing folder and my die cutting machine.  This is then adhered to the base with Snail adhesive.  Using the gorgeous Noble Peacock Foil DSP, I cut out the wreaths in Blueberry Bushel, Pretty Peacock and Old Olive. I layered these adhering each layer with Mini Glue Dots.  Noble Peacock Basic Jewels are added to give the wreath some embellishments.  On a separate piece of Whisper White, I stamped the sentiment using the new Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and Blueberry Bushel ink.  Pink Glimmer paper is cut using the Stitched Label dies as is the sentiment and then layered on top of the glimmer paper.  Together these are adhered to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I absolutely love how this turned out.  What do you think?

OnStage Toronto 2019

Good day friends.  I hope you’re all enjoying a relaxing day wherever you may be.  It was an incredibly busy weekend, that’s hasn’t ended yet.  I wanted to take a moment and share some of my day yesterday at OnStage in Toronto.  OnStage is an annual event held by Stampin’ Up! for their demonstrators.  We have business discussions, network, build and reinforce amazing friendships and get to see and play with products from the upcoming Mini Catalogue.  Here are some pictures I took throughout the event.

I was up at the crack of dawn, 4:45am, to get ready for the day.  I carpooled with fellow demos and friends to get to Toronto for the day.  We left at 6:00 to be sure to get a good table!

Once inside, we found tables and got our welcome gifts.  The gorgeous back pack was filled with our credentials, pens, notebook, upcoming stamp set from the new Mini catalogue and fun pins to trade (all of images from the new catty).

I'm so blessed by the friendships and support I receive along this incredible journey and I was grateful to be able to have 4 members from my direct team with me in attendance, as well as my Leader, Jenn Tinline, who also presented one of the new stamp sets

Of course, the day wouldn't be complete with a Prize Patrol and I am super excited to bring Parisian Beauty home to play with.  It's GORGEOUS.  Be sure to stay tuned for sneak peeks from the new Mini Catalogue over the coming weeks.

My Shut Up & Stamp Team continues to grow and evolve and I'm proud of each and every member as they find what works in how they want to run their "business".  Some may choose only to do this as a hobby, and that's ok too.  I'd love for you to join me next year to see exactly what this day is all about.  You'll not only make new friends and get free NEW products; but you'll join a community that is like no other.

CARD: Stargazing

Good Day!  Thank you, for stopping by.  Today I have the final card from the CASE the catalogue swap that took place with my fellow Demonstrators. This card features the stamp set, Stargazing.  This set is found on page 137 of the annual catalogue.

I absolutely love the powerful message on this card.  It's a great "just because" card or to help inspire someone near and dear to you.

The base of this card is Call Me Clover measuring 8 1/2" x 4 1/4".  It is then folded in half to become a square card measuring 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".  Whisper White card stock is then cut to 4" x 4".  It is stamped in Call Me Clover.  Mint Macaron ink is then lightly sponged around the edges of the image.    On a smaller piece of Whisper White card stock, the sentiment is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the moon is stamped in Mint Macaron and punched using the Twinkle Builder Punch.  A piece of 3/8” Glittered Organdy Ribbon is adhered with glue dots.  The sentiment is attached with Stampin Dimensionals.

What do you think?  Is this a card you’d recreate and who would you give it to?

CARD: Merry Plaid

Good day everyone!  Thanks for stopping by!  I’ve got another Christmas card for you today, featuring the festive Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper.  These beautiful plaid patterned papers are perfect for your holiday projects this year.

This card was designed by a fellow demonstrator, and I added my own twist to it.  The base is Whisper White.  The next layer is a matte in Night of Navy with a layer of the Wrapped in Plaid DSP on top.  Another piece of Whisper White is used and the tree is punched out using the tree punch, leaving the negative space for the DSP to show through.  The sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  The greenery branch is from Sip, Sip Hooray and stamped in Shaded Spruce.

This project is incredibly simple; and looks like a million bucks!  To duplicate this card, you’ll find a list of the supplies below.  To purchase, simply click on any of the images to be taken directly to that item.  Orders placed online using the monthly Host Code will be entered to win the month’s rewards.
