CARD: Blue Christmas Wreath

Wow, can you believe November is half over?  It feels like it was just Halloween.  If you’re a  Christmas nut like me, you’ve likely already begun to get in the holiday spirit.  For the rest of you that celebrate, things will start ramping up over the next few weeks which is why I’m so excited to share the card I made today.

You’ll have seen similar cards already featured as I really love the All Around Wreath Dies.  This was actually one of the first cards I created with them; inspired by a decor piece another Demonstrator had done.

For this card, I used Blueberry Bushel card stock for the base.  It measures 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” and is folded in half to become 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”.  Next I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to be 5” x 3 3/4” and embossed it using the Scripty 3D embossing folder and my die cutting machine.  This is then adhered to the base with Snail adhesive.  Using the gorgeous Noble Peacock Foil DSP, I cut out the wreaths in Blueberry Bushel, Pretty Peacock and Old Olive. I layered these adhering each layer with Mini Glue Dots.  Noble Peacock Basic Jewels are added to give the wreath some embellishments.  On a separate piece of Whisper White, I stamped the sentiment using the new Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and Blueberry Bushel ink.  Pink Glimmer paper is cut using the Stitched Label dies as is the sentiment and then layered on top of the glimmer paper.  Together these are adhered to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I absolutely love how this turned out.  What do you think?
