CARD: Daisy Lane Pizza Box Cards

Last night, I had a class featuring the Daisy Lane stamp set and bundle.  The projects were all inspired by Ange McKay's presentation from OnStage.

Here is the first project from the class.  I'll be featuring the others later this week so be sure to stop by.

This is the cute little pizza box.  Adorable right?  If you like this, check out the cards that go inside.

There are two of each of these little gems inside the box.  Carry it with you in your purse to have a card ready at all times, or give it away as the perfect gift.

Details on how to create these cards will be included in my newsletter.  Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on anything!

And remember, you can purchase the supplies used to create this project through my online store if you live in Canada.  Click on any of the images below to be taken directly to them.  Orders over $25 will automatically receive my Top 6 card designs PDF at no additional charge.

CARD: Thinking of Magnolias

One thing is true about spring time in Ontario, Magnolias can be found just about everywhere and they're quite beautiful when in full bloom.  That's why I was so please to see the Magnolia Lane suite in the new catalogue!

This card uses the simply GORGEOUS Magnolia Lane designer series paper and was designed by Diana Langman for our recent sketch challenge swap.

Diana used whisper white for the back ground.  The next layer is basic black which was embossed using the subtle embossing folder.  A piece of the Magnolia Lane with the old olive stripes with a whisper white matte is placed at the bottom.  A piece of the gorgeous magnolia dsp is then run through the same subtles embossing folder and adhered with a whisper white matte.  The sentiment is stamped in versamark ink and then sprinked with gold heat embossing powder which is then set using the heat tool.  It's then cut using the stitched shape dies and attached with stampin' dimensionals.  A bloom from the DSP is hand cut and adhered and some gold pearls added as a finishing touch.
All in all, a simply stunning card.

CARD: Free Bird Thank You

I have a wonderful project to share with your all today from the talented Laurie Alexander.  Laurie is one of the many people I've met along my journey with Stampin' Up! and I now consider her a friend.  We've had the opportunity to spend some time together at the two most recent OnStage events for Demonstrators.  At the most recent, in Quebec City, I gave Laurie a swap card I had created despite the fact that she hadn't done cards to swap herself.  Sharing my work with others is why I do what I do and I didn't mind that I wasn't receiving anything in return.

Well, fast forward several weeks and I receive this GORGEOUS card in the mail with a lovely note expressing gratitude for the swap I gave her in April.  Of course, it uses the increasingly popular Free As a Bird stamp set.  I absolutely love how she's lined up the bird image to feature three of the four birds on the spotlighting circle and the fourth in the monochromatic petal pink.

If you're looking to connect with people to build a network, support system or develop a community of life-long friends, you should consider joining my team.

Remember, you can purchase the supplies used to create this card through my online store if you live in Canada.  Click on any of the images below to be taken directly to them.  Orders over $25 will automatically receive my Top 6 Card Designs PDF at no additional charge.
