OnStage April 2017

What a fantastic day!  My day started far too early for a Saturday morning.  I was awoken by some very noisy birds outside the window at my parents home, where I stayed last night.  Why, was I there, you ask?  Well, the answer is quite simple.  It was closer to the Allstream centre in Toronto where I'd be attending OnStage local, and they were going to be watching my kids so it was really a win, win!

So, I was up at 5am with the birds, but I really didn't get going until about 6:15.  I got up and dressed and set out for my day.  I knew check-in for the event was going to open at 7:30, so I wanted to try to get there as close to that as possible.  I arrived at OnStage around 7:15, and there were demonstrators already lined up to check-in.  Lucky Stampin' Up! has this process down to a fine art and I was registered and ready to go in really quickly!  I could hardly contain my excitement.

Each Demonstrator received a bag full of goodies upon our arrival, including a new stamp set from the upcoming catalog.  Of course, I can't share that with you yet; but keep checking back as I'll be posting some samples using new products in the coming days.  Also in the bag were our credentials for the day.  These included our name badge and rank.  I also received a button to indicate this was my first ever OnStage event...FINALLY!  After 6 years as a Demonstrator, I'd say it was time ;)

The day consisted of recognition, business practices, the new catalog stamping demonstrations and of course STAMPING!  We made four different make & takes, again using new catalogue products and I can't wait to share these with you. I know you're going to love them.  Prize patrol was in full effect throughout the day and both of my downline who attended, and I, were lucky winners.

Congratulations to Lisa Hardie and Teresa Steinman!

It was an amazing day of learning, crafting and spending time with my downline, upline and teams.  I can't wait to do it all again next year!

Birthday Bright Project Kit

Did you notice the Birthday Bright project kit in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog? As you can see in this picture, there are supplies to make 12 cards with envelopes and 12 tags. There are lots of special accents on these projects - foil and glimmer paper, fringe, enamel shapes, mini bows, mini clothespins, acetate sheets, confetti, honeycomb circles, etc.

Not to mention, the box! Did you see that adorable box in the corner?!

To complete the cards and tags, you need the Birthday Bright stamp set, some ink (Basic Black, Emerald Envy, So Saffron, Watermelon Wonder) and adhesive (Fast Fuse, Fine-Tip Glue Pen, Dimensionals).

Instructions are included with the kit, so you could easily complete the projects on your own. However, since stamps and ink are not included, I am having a class on Saturday, March 25, from 8-9:30pm where you can come to my Stampin' Spot to make your projects using my stamps and ink! The class fee of $45 is the cost of the kit, plus shipping and tax. Contact me or join my Facebook Event BY MARCH 10, so that I have time to order your kit for class.

Dragonfly Dreams

Last Sunday, I attended a meeting for Demonstrators within my circle of peers.  These meetings are always a good time.  There's great conversation, both business related and social; there are make and takes; and there is always an optional swap!

I decided to partake in the swap and got some amazingly beautiful cards that I can now use to showcase product or send to my family and friends.

One of the cards, designed by Laurie Alexander, features the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and coordinating thinlits.  I absolutely love this card and how everything blends together so well.

If you like the stamp set and thinlits, you can actually save 10% by getting the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle.

For more information on how to duplicate this gorgeous card, please send me a message.

Happy stampin'!

Never a Better Time to Join

We have all been there.  Waging that internal battle as we debate on what supplies to buy to make the next great handmade project.  We all know that paper crafting is an expensive hobby because frankly, you can never have enough supplies.

What if I told you that right now during SALE-a-BRATION, you can get, at minimum, $165 worth of product for only $135 and there wouldn't be any tax or shipping charges?  What if I sweetened the deal and told you that after your initial purchase, you'd save at least 20% off every order you place?

I know you're probably thinking, I don't want to run a business, I just want to craft.  That's totally okay and completely acceptable with Stampin' Up!  We have lots of hobby demonstrators who only join for the discount.  Just knowing there is definitely a business opportunity to be had is all I ask.

Have I piqued your interest yet?  What if I told you there's one more thing that could make your decision even easier?  You can get you kit for FREE simply by hosting a party during SALE-a-BRATION.  As a hostess, you can use your hostess rewards for FREE merchandise, or toward your demonstrator kit and earning the kit for FREE is that much easier during SALE-a-BRATION because hostess can earn MORE.  Check out the chart below to see what I mean.

If you'd like some more information, please send me a quick note.  I'm happy to answer your questions.

As always, thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin'
