Product Review - Big Shot

It's hard to remember paper-crafting before the Big Shot.....I use my Big Shot on almost all of my projects in one way or another! If you have a Big Shot, you know what I mean. If you don't own a Big Shot yet, NOW is the time to buy one!

When you purchase a Big Shot for $122.95 from me this month, you can choose one of five Stamp Set/Framelit Bundles for FREE! The value of the bundles range from $38.95 - $65.95. What's even better is that if you add just over $75 to your Big Shot order, you'll also earn $35 in Hostess Benefits!
Let's do the math.....You place a $200 (which includes the Big Shot) and you get $74 - 114 dollars in free product depending on which bundle you choose!
That's an amazing deal! And, if you already own the Big Shot, you can get in on the savings and purchase these exclusive bundles for 15% off!
So, what do I LOVE about the Big Shot?
  • I love adding texture with embossing folders.
  • I love using framelits that coordinate with my stamped images.
  • I love using framelits that are shapes that easily layer with one another.
  • I love making flip cards with the card thinlits.
  • I love cutting multiple layers at once with the Bigz dies.
  • I love cutting different materials (fabric, cork, foam, etc.) with the Bigz dies.
  • I love making 3-D items (boxes, bows, purses) with the Bigz dies.

There's a lot to love! The entire product line is great!

Order your Big Shot by the end of the month to get the FREE bundle!

Boys Will Be Boys...

Isn't it true?  Boys are a whole other species some days.  At least that's how I feel when dealing with my son.

However, the one thing I have discovered is generation after generation, boys love the same things.  Our new stamp set Boys will be Boys encompasses just that.  Check out this cute card I came up with while crafting with my friend this week!

LEGO!  What kid doesn't like LEGO?  Growing up, my brother was a LEGO maniac and now my son is just as fanatic.  I love that I can create something so perfectly suited to him, or any boy at heart!
I coloured in the blocks using the new Blendabilities markers.  A trim of our new cotton ribbon completes the card.

I can't wait to use this set in my scrapbooks.  I can totally envision LEGOS lining the bottom of a page focusing on B's creations!

There are so many other great images to this set, stay tuned for some more ideas!

Too Much Cuteness

This past Thursday, I had a much needed crafty day with my friend Christine.  We used to get together regularly; but, life makes that difficult some days and it had been a while since we last got together.

I worked on completing some projects I had prepped but never actually completed.  Many were left over projects from card club.  I usually cut one or two extras, just in case a member brings a friend, with the intention of making them up to use myself later.  Of course, the pile grows and grows as I usually end up working on something else first.  I pulled out my stack of unfinished items and was slightly discouraged that I couldn't remember what they were all supposed to be.  I did what I could and then moved on to creating new and fun projects.

I FINALLY pulled out the new hamburger box die from the 2014 catalog.  It took a few minutes to get the hang of folding it; but, once I did I was off and running.  Check out this super cute crab I found online and CASE'd.

LOVE him :)

I absolutely adore it!  I can't wait to play with the hamburger box die some more to see what great ideas I can come up with!

What do you think?  Is it too much cuteness?

Paper Pumpkin FAQs

Q: When Will I Be Billed?
A: Your credit card will be charged as soon as your Paper Pumpkin ships. You will get an e-mail notifying you that your card has been charged.
Q: What comes in my Paper Pumpkin?
A: It's a surprise each month—anticipation for the surprise is seriously half the fun! No worries, though, you'll have everything you need to complete the project: paper, stamps, ink, accessories, and more! (You will need adhesive.)
Q: Is my subscription on auto renew?
A: Yes, your subscription is on auto renew. However, you can skip a month or cancel at any time. Simply log on to your account and click "manage my account" on or before the 10th of the month in order to skip the Paper Pumpkin for that month or cancel completely.
Q: When do I need to sign up in order to get my Paper Pumpkin for a specific month?
A: You need to sign up by the 10th of the month in order to receive your Paper Pumpkin for that month. If you sign up after the 10th―no worries! You will get your first kit the following month. You'll know your Paper Pumpkin is on its way when you receive your shipment confirmation e-mail.
Q: It asked me if I have a demonstrator—what is that?
A: A demonstrator is a super cool creativity coach that sells Stampin' Up! products. We'll give you the option to choose a demonstrator when you sign up for a membership. You're definitely going to want one. But you can still join without selecting a demonstrator.
Q: What is a prepaid subscription?
A: Prepaid subscriptions provide an opportunity to purchase several months of Paper Pumpkin all at once. These orders can be placed on a customer, workshop, demonstrator, or online order. Plus they are commissionable and will qualify for hostess benefits.
Q: How many prepaid months can I purchase at once?
A: You and your customers can select a subscription for one, three, six, or 12 months.
Q: Is there a discount for ordering a higher number of months at once?
A: Yes, there is a savings. When you order a six-month subscription, you save $1 per month, and when you order a 12-month subscription, you save $2 per month.
Q: Can I order more than one prepaid subscription at once?
A: Each Paper Pumpkin account can only use one redemption code at a time. For example, if someone buys two six-month prepaid subscriptions, they'll enter the first code and then, after six months, enter the second code.
Q: How are prepaid subscriptions redeemed?
A: When the order is paid for and closed, the customer will receive an e-mail with a redemption code and instructions on how to redeem. The e-mail will guide them to www.mypaperpumpkin.com where they will enter their code. The system will recognize the number of months they've paid for. Be sure to instruct your customers to enter all their information on the site so when their prepaid subscription runs out, they can continue to receive Paper Pumpkin kits without interruption.
Q: Can a current subscriber order a prepaid subscription?
A: Of course! After they order and enter the code, the prepaid months will be used up before any future shipments are charged. When the prepaid months are over, the subscription will continue and be charged monthly to the credit card on file. Keep in mind that if a current subscriber is already attached to a demonstrator, the existing subscription will remain with the original demonstrator.
Q: Can I buy a prepaid subscription with hostess benefits?
A: Yes. A prepaid subscription can be added to either the free or half-priced hostess items.
Q: Can a prepaid subscription be ordered as a gift?
A: Yes. Although this isn't officially a gift subscription program, you or your customers can buy a prepaid subscription and give it as a gift. You'd just purchase the prepaid subscription and when you receive the redemption code, share it with the recipient of your choice who can redeem the subscription at www.mypaperpumpkin.com. One thing to keep in mind is that the redemption codes will not work across borders. (So, someone in Canada could not gift a subscription to someone is the US and vice versa.)
Q: What happens when a prepaid subscription is not redeemed?
A: Codes will expire after three years (two years for California residents). At that time they will be turned over as unclaimed property.
