CARD: Yuletide Frost

Good morning and happy Sunday.  It's a busy day for me today as I'm heading off to the first annual Mount Hope Stop & Shop!  If you're local to Hamilton, Ontario, please stop by to say "hi".  We're there from 9am-2pm today.

While I'm busy at the vendor fair, I thought I'd share a project with you all.  This gorgeous card was created by fellow demonstrator, Lorraine Melanson, for a demonstrator swap.  If you follow my blog, you'll notice I post a lot of wonderful projects that have come from swaps.  That's because they are one of the MANY perks that come with being a demonstrator.  I'm always happy to talk about everything involved, with no obligation.  If you're ever curious, send me a note and let's set up a time to connect.

This card features the stunning Feels Like Frost specialty DSP and coordinating Frosted Foliage stamp set.  Aren't they stunning?  Sadly, the DSP has sold out and is no longer available to order; until next year!  It will be coming back in future catalogues, so watch for it and order early when you see it.

CARD: Snowman Boxes

Hello, and thanks for stopping by.  I'm so glad you're here.  Today, I have an adorable card made by my friend and mentor, Jenn Tinline.  This was one of the cards from our recent Demonstrator swap to showcase products for the holidays.

This card features the ever adorable Lots of Cheer stamp set, found in the Annual Catalogue on page 69.  The gift boxes dressed to be a snowman are just too cute not to love.  This card is created using a Whisper White base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Next, a strip of Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP is cut 2" x 5 1/4".  Night of Navy is cut to be 2 5/8" x 4".  Gold Foil sheets are then used to create another layer 2 3/8" x 3 3/4".  Finally a layer of Whisper White is cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies.  The snowman image is stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured in using Stampin' Blends in Night of Navy and Shaded Spruce.  The colour lifter Blend is also used to add shading and dimension.  Wink of Stella is added to give the images lustre.  The sentiment on the card base is stamped in VersaMark ink, then sprinkled with Gold embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool.  The image and layers are assembled using Snail.  A pop of Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8" ribbon is adhered to the back before the layer is added to the card base with Stampin Dimensionals.  The result is an absolutely perfect card for you to send to your friends and family this season.

If you love this card and would like to order any of the items used here, please click on the images below to be taken directly to that item.  For details on the benefits to naming me, Stephanie Nash, as your demonstrator, please visit my rewards page.

CARD: Classy Cocktails

It's Cyber Monday.  Are you taking advantage of all the sales available?  It certainly makes holiday shopping a little lighter on the wallet.

Today, I have a project for you from a recent swap I participated in.  The swap theme was to showcase products from the Holiday catalogue, so I chose the Sip, Sip, Hooray stamp set and coordinating Sip & Celebrate Dies.

To create this card, I started with a Basic Black base measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".  I then cut another piece of the Basic Black to be 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" which I then cut with the bubbles using the Sip & Celebrate dies.  I also cut the wine glasses with the same die set.  Copper Foil paper was then cut to measure 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  Using Tombow Multi-purpose Liquid Glue, I adhere the die cut Basic Black to the Copper foil before adhering to the card base using Snail.  On a separate piece of Copper Foil, "Sip, Sip" is stamped in Stazon Black Ink.  On Vellum card stock, "Hooray" is stamped in VersaMark ink and sprinkled with Copper embossing powder.  This is then set using the Heat Tool before using the Stitched Shape dies to cut out both sentiments.  I adhered the two circles together using Snail before using Stampin Dimensionals to add them to the card front.  I made sure that the Dimensionals were only on the copper side, or hidden in the overlap so as to not show through the vellum.  Finish it all off with a few Rhinestones for additional sparkle and you have a card perfect for any celebration.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do.  It's featured on my display wall because I love how well it turned out.  If you would like to CASE this project, a full list of supplies is listed below.  To purchase, simply click on an image to be taken directly to that item.  Be sure to visit my Rewards page for benefits to shopping with me, Stephanie Nash!
