You + Us + March 26 = Awesome!

Have you ever wished you could stamp with the folks at Stampin' Up!'s home office? Your wish is granted--and your opportunity is coming soon! Here's the basic rundown.

Who: You! And feel free to invite your family, friends or anyone who wants to play along.

What: This is a live, streaming event where we will stamp with the All Wrapped Up Bundle on page 6 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Order the bundle in time to have it at the event. Our projects will also feature the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, so you may want to order that as the free Sale-A-Bration product. Then choose your preferred device--computer, tablet, smart phone, or even hook up your computer to your TV*--and tune in to learn some fun new things to do with the bundle!

When: March 26, 2014, at 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 11:00 PM (all times MT). We'll demonstrate the same projects each time, so choose the one that's best for you.

Where: You don't even have to leave home. Come to www.youtube.com/stampinupvideo at your chosen time, and be prepared to stamp! We'll also award door prizes to random participants.

Why: So many occasions are coming--Easter, Mother's Day, graduations, and more--and we want to help you be ready.

Hope you can make it. We'd love to have you join us!

*Never hooked up your computer to a TV before? Do a search on YouTube and you'll find loads of instructional videos. Make sure to do a practice run before March 26 so you don't miss out on any of the party.

I'll be placing an order on Monday March 17th to ensure delivery for the event.  If  you'd like to order, simply send me an email, call me at 289-280-0304 or shop online.  Use code 3NJYJCMZ so I know you're joining me and Stampin' Up! home office on March 26th!  Everyone who places an order will receive a free thank you gift from me.

Happy Watercolor

I made this card yesterday using the Happy Watercolor stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  I think this set might be a new favourite.  Yes, I know, I say that a lot.

How about, it's my new favourite until something else becomes my new favourite?

The card was inspired by Rachel Tessman's example.

I think it's a perfect card for today since the sun makes me happy after yesterday's blizzard.

What or who makes you happy?

WANTED: Stampers for fun, friendship and FREEBIES!

There are many reasons people choose to join as a demonstrator with Stampin' Up!.  It's been around for 25 years; 10 in Canada.  We know that longevity and stability in these unstable economic times are important.  The ability to earn supplementary or full income doing something you love is a huge bonus!

Many Stampin' Up! demonstrators simply join to get the discount.  If you love the products, and they are great products, you can get AMAZING deals by becoming a demonstrator.

Stampin' Up! has demonstrators around the world.  Stampin' Up! knows the value of this network and has ways to connect us all together to share our projects, business ideas or to ask for assistance.  But what's more, there are demonstrators in your own backyard...looking for friends to stamp with; friends to share inspiration and fun times.  Friends to make memories with as we grow and try to preserve our family's history.  Friends to travel with, whether it be to Convention in Utah or a regional event close by.

Join for ME (yes, I know that sounds selfish).  I'm looking for a few friends to join and NOW is the BEST time to join the Stampin' Up! Family.  So...if any of the reasons below appeal to you, please contact me!

Top 9 Reasons to purchase the $125 Stampin' Up! starter kit NOW.

1.  During Sale-a-Bration (Jan 28-Mar 31), get the Stampin Up! starter kit for $125 and select $195 worth of product.  That's $70 FREE product.

2.  Customize your kit with ANY items in the current Annual or Occasions catalog, photopolymer stamps, clearance rack, holiday carryover or specially priced bundles.  If Stampin' Up! sells it, you can include it!

3.  The kit ships direct to you for FREE, that's another 10% savings.

4.  Stock up!  You'll get 30% off your first order of $200 or more (before taxes & shpg), placed in your first 45 days.  And you'll earn Hostess rewards and Sale-a-Bration products.

5.  When you purchase the kit, you join the Stampin' Up! family and receive demonstrator benefits such as a 20% discount and the chance to purchase new products early; or earn them for FREE.

6.  Do it just for YOU.  There's NO requirement to turn it into a business.  No parties, workshops, classes or order taking required.  However, training and support are available if you decide you would like to earn the extra income!

7.  You CAN just buy the starter kit and do nothing further.

8.  There's NO penalty to drop.  If you decide that Stampin' Up! just isn't for you, you don't have to pay anything, or send any products back.  Your demonstrator benefits and discounts will remain active until at least July 31, 2014 if you join now.

9.  Create, learn, make friends and have FUN.  Purchase the kit and join through me here; and you'll be well on your way to fun, new friendships and a ton of creativity.  I would LOVE to stamp with you.  Hobby demos are totally welcome!

I would love to get together for coffee, tea, wine (or whatever your beverage of choice is) in person or online to answer any questions you may have.  Now is the BEST TIME TO JOIN. And it really is a fun and fabulous company!  Let me know that you're interested and we'll schedule some girl talk!

Happy stampin'!

Eggstra Spectacular

Easter is just around the corner and I've begun thinking of cute ideas to make in my clubs and with my kids.  Pinterest has become one of my favourite places to look for inspiration.  I found this picture and I know that these are definitely going to be made with my kids.

http://www.pinterest.com/pin/67694800623275642/

Until I actually set out to make these, I'm going to guess that the supplies used are the 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Sweet Treat cups, Whisper White cardstock and the Large Oval Punch.  A few white mini pom-poms, which you can pick up at your local Dollar store or craft store; and some pastel candies (m&m's in this case), complete the ensemble.

In the meanwhile, I did come up with this cute card for card club not too long ago.  The card features Eggstra Spectacular from the Occasions Catalog.  This adorable little set can be used in so many ways.  I can't wait to play with it some more.  I'm thinking an easter egg tree using the egg stamp might be cute.  Check back for my blog post on that creation!

The cardstock used is Sahara Sand and Coastal Cabana.  The patterned paper is from our Eastern Elegance DSP pack.
