Lasting Lily

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating.  Maybe you even found some time to get crafty.

We've had a busy few days; but, I still managed to sneak in some time tonight to play around with the new Lasting Lily stamp set.  You can get this beautiful set FREE during Sale-a-Bration which begins on January 3rd, along with the new Occasions Catalogue.  If you haven't yet received copies of the catalogues and would like one, please send me a note and I'll be sure to get one to you.

I made three cards using the new Lasting Lily stamp set.  They are all the same design concept; but each one builds on the one before it.  Perfect for the beginner stamper, casual stamper or avid stamper.

This first card demonstrates #simplestamping.  One card base (or note-card), one stamp set and ink.  I used the Stamparatus to ensure perfect placement of all the elements, making this a great card for those beginner stampers.

For the second version of this card, I've added a layer.  The card base is now the same colour as the flower and I've punched the sentiment out and added Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it off the front.  This is a great way to step-up your project and ideal for those casual crafters.

The final card adds in the Big Shot and some embellishments to take this card to the next level, perfect for avid crafters. Each of these cards could be sent to a family member, friend, co-worker; or, anyone else who needs a little sympathy. I hope you’ve enjoyed these as much as I did creating them.
