Thank you, for stopping by!
Today on the blog I want to share the projects we made at my Masculine Card Class last night.
If you've never had the opportunity to attend one of my classes, this may give you a small taste of what to expect.
This lovely group of ladies came out to enjoy a night of crafting, conversation and some wine too. I missed getting one of the gals in the photo; but, she was a first time stamper and had no trouble keeping up with the seasoned gals in the bunch.
There were three different projects for the girls to work on; and, they got to make 4 of each. Each of them left with a collection of 12 cards and envelopes that they can now use to give the men in their lives.
So let's see the projects.
Project One had two options for the girls to choose. It used the "Geared up Garage" stamp set and co-ordinating Garage Gears thinlets. I used a sponging technique to create the background by cutting out the gears image from a scrap piece of cardstock and sponging crushed curry over top.
The first option for the card used the Happy Father's Day image from the stamp set and co-ordinating thinlets. The second option used the "all Geared Up" sentiment; and, the Tailored Tag punch. I provided the two options just in case they didn't need 4 Father's Day cards.
Project 2 used the "Rooted in Nature" stamp set and a Spotlight Technique.
Project 3 actually featured a collage of designer series paper and a sentiment from the new "Humming Along" stamp set. I absolutely love the wood textures 6" x 6" designer series paper and it actually worked perfectly in this card.
I think this last card might actually be my favourite; and it was super easy to make.
If you're curious about any of the cards shown here and would like more information, leave me a comment below and I'll be happy to answer.
Happy stampin'!
