Carols of Christmas Inkspiration

Good morning Stampers.  I hope your Thursday is off to a fantastic start.  I'm fortunate to have a day off from my full-time job today, which I plan to maximize running some much needed errands and crafting!

I have the first of a few Christmas clinics next week that I need to start planning and prepping for.  There's still space too!  If you're local and would like to get a jump on your Christmas cards, check out the event on my Facebook page, or in my events section.

Today, I want to share with you an idea for the Carols of Christmas stamp set that you can get on EARLY release, ahead of the Holiday Catalogue launch September 1st.

This first project is simply stunning!  It is a shaker card, and while it's hard to tell from the photo, the trees actually have glitter and sequins in behind them that you can shake and move around to look like snow falling.  I absolutely LOVE it.  The void spaces are created using the matching Card Front Builder thinlits, also available on EARLY release.  The colours are non-traditional Christmas colours, which I think make a bold statement.  Dapper Denim and Pool Party combine perfectly.  DSP from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper pack creates a perfect background accent.

If you'd like more information on how to create this card, or on the shaker card technique featured, please send me a note and we can discuss further.

Happy stampin'!
