I'm not sure about any of you; but, the weekend went by WAY too quickly. On the other hand, a new week means more sharing of the colour challenge swaps I've received. The card I'm showcasing today comes from Vicki Howie and uses the Mediterranean Moments stamp set.
There's just something about this sweet bistro table that makes me wish I was sitting at an outdoor cafe in France. The background is a sheet of crumb cake 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". It is folded to measure 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". A layer of bermuda bay cut to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" is cut and run through the big shot using the subtle embossing folder. A piece of basic black is cut to measure 5 3/8" x 2" and a piece of crumb cake coloured DSP from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP is placed on top of the black layer. Layering circles framelits are then used to cut a basic black circle and the image that has been stamped on very vanilla using memento tuxedo black ink. The circles are adhered using stampin' dimensionals and a piece of 1/2" race trim is added under the circle. Basic jewel pearls are added to create a soft, delicate feel to the card.
Don't you just love it?
Happy stampin'
