A Gem

I mentioned yesterday a birthday party my twins attended and the card my daughter and I had made.  My son, decided he didn't want to make a card and instead selected this one from my samples.  I had made this at a workshop prior to becoming a Demonstrator myself.  Designed by Jennifer Tinline, this card uses the Fancy Flower punch, Glimmer Paper, Basic Rhinestones, 1 3/8" Circle Punch and You're a Gem set.

Birthday Princess

My twins recently attended a birthday party for a girl in their class.  My daughter and I created this card together; a card fit for a princess using Artistic Etchings.  The crown is accented using our Basic Rhinestones.

Simply Punched

I decided to try something a little different with my favourite, Simply Said, set.  I added the butterflies, punched with our Butterfly punch out of Designer Series paper.  To make them seem like they're flying, I gently folded the wings to give them shape.  Then I drew the "flight lines" in with our Stampin' Write Marker in Basic Black.

Colours used: Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, Whisper White and Basic Black
