Scrappin' Birthday Parties
Have you been looking for something new, different and still affordable for you child's birthday party? Why not try a scrapbooking party? Each child will get to create their own personalized project.
I have several project options available from simple cards, to mini albums and wall hangings. Only one project option per party; and the choice is that of the birthday child and his/her parent.
There is a minimum five (5) child minimum requirement with a 50%, non-refundable, deposit due at booking.
As a thank-you, the birthday child will receive a birthday gift from me!
Cost is $10.00/child.
For the grown up scrappin' party, host a birthday workshop* with a few of your friends and family and as a thank-you, you'll receive a free birthday gift! You'll also receive all the benefits of being a workshop hostess (with qualifying sales)!
*There is a $5.00 charge for mini-album projects

Baroque Motifs
How lovely and whimsical is this set? Baroque Motifs is just one of many sets on the retirement list this year. Order yours today before it's gone for good. You can order Baroque Motifs (set of 6) until May 31; but don't miss your chance.
You can create beautiful cards and gifts with this set. Here is an example of one of my favourite cards using Baroque Motifs.
This super simple card is elegant and beautiful. I used very vanilla card stock, rose red and early espresso ink, Versa mark ink and clear heat emboss powder. The image was stamped first in the rose red, then stamped again in Versa Mark slightly offset. The clear embossing powder was sprinkled over the Versa Mark and set using the heat tool. I then stamped the flowers over top in early espresso and added a basic pearl embellishment to the centres. I then completed the look with our stripped 1 1/4" grosgrain ribbon in early espresso.
To order your Baroque Motifs set before it's gone, order online by clicking the link on the upper right of the page, or contact me directly via email or by calling 905-320-4477

Going, Going...Gone!
Stampin' Up! has just released the 2011-12 Retirement List. These stamp sets will only be available until May 31.
Now is the perfect chance to make sure you get those favourite sets before they disappear. I know there are some that I've been coveting; but, kept saying "oh, I'll just get them later". Well, now I have to get them or I'm going to miss out. Don't let this happen to you.
You can find the retired list online here, or you can shop online by visiting my site here.
The retiring list is quite large this year and here are some reasons why:
- need to make room as this new catalogue will be slightly smaller (allowing us to more easily mail it!). Rest assured the seasonal catalogues will make up the difference as they will be larger.
- All sets in the new catalogue will be offered in BOTH wood and clear, so some sets that were only wood mount have to go.
- Stampin' Up wants to keep it all fresh, with new, exciting and trendy products (can't wait to see that new catalogue). To get yours email me!
If you have any questions or want to put your order toward the Switzerland Fundraiser I'm holding for the 2nd Mount Hope Guides & Pathfinders, please email me or call me at 905-320-4477

Great Gift Ideas
Mother's Day is just around the corner and what better way to say "I Love You" than with handmade gifts?
These cute tea lights are super easy to make!
These tea lights were purchased at WalMart. They are plain white, unscented candles. I used two stamp sets to create this lovely gift pack: Just Believe and Three Little Words.
The candles are then wrapped up in our cellophane bags and topped sealed with a Top Note cut out from the Big Shot, some baker's twine in Island Indigo and embellished with a beautiful paper flower, made with our new Blossom punch.
To order any of these items you can contact me by email or by phone; or you can order online by clicking the button at the top right hand side.

Paper Purses
I love handbags. In fact, I would say I have an obsession with them; though I don't buy them as often as I would like.
That's why I am in love with these adorable paper purses!
The first is made using the new Petite Purse Bigz L Die, for the Big Shot, from the 2012-13 Summer Smooch Sneak Peek. I absolutely adore this cute little purse. The best part is you can accessorize it any way you'd like! Leave it plain or bling it out, it'll look great no matter what you decide!
How great would these be as shower or wedding favours? Fill them with some candy or chocolate and they make the perfect "thank-you" gift.
The second purse is made using a 12x12 sheet of DSP (designer series paper) and a sheet of accenting 8.5x11 card stock. It can be used to carry cards to and from events or why not fill it with handmade cards and give it as a gift?
Directions for the card caddy can be found at www.ustamp4fun.com
