You know how much I love Simply Said, and how sad I am to see it retire at the end of the month.  That is why I've come up with yet another beautiful card to showcase how awesome this set really is.  I cased this card from my upline, Jennifer Tinline.  I made a few changes from her original design including colour, ribbon and accessories.  This truly is a versatile set and one that you should get before it's too late.  Only 13 more days until it's gone forever.

Waterfall Card

I'm so excited to have just finished making my very first waterfall card!  I've seen them before and thought they were awesome.
Now that I've actually made one, I can't believe how simple they are to make.  Here's my sample using Artistic Etchings.  


The only change I would make would be to the colour of the ribbon, I'd make it Daffodil Delight to match the background of my images.

Here is a super cute fishing vest card I made for my hubby for this upcoming Father's Day.  The card is super easy to make and I'm sure it'll be a big hit among many.

Fun & Fast Thanks

A popular set that encompasses many occasions, Fun & Fast Notes, is on the Last Chance list.  While each image has it's own verse, when I mounted my stamps, I cut the verse off and mounted it on the side allowing me to mix and match images and sayings.

I created the following card, by mixing the bouquet with the verse from the cute little bird.  A perfect card to say thanks to a teacher, coach or someone special.  The background uses the Baroque Border wheel.

Colours: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Real Red, Marina Mist, Whisper White
Techniques: Heat Embossing using Clear Embossing Powder

Masculine Card, Idea 2

This super cute swim trunk card is perfect for summer.  Simply cut your shape, use Designer Series Paper or stamp your design, use the crimper to make an "elastic" waistband, and add a tie.

Note:  Ribbon used in sample is not from Stampin' Up!
